AI Slop really is biting Youtube, IG, and Spotify. Even my wife, sis and dad who don’t care and just want a pleasant playlist are caught off guard they’ve heard fake artists and fake albums.
But it’s not just that, but how many subscriptions do we need and have, and over 2-3 years what is that value in owning the music itself, and knowing it isn’t edited, won’t go away due to rights, and is not going to be AI, etc.
Also… connection, and feeling close to something, and having a physical item that is like the bookshelf of your mind and says something about you, etc…
