Looking like a harried nutjob chasing the next big thing in apps or buzz doesn’t seem to be good business.
Being refined is always modern.
A guy I work with just told me to go to a mobile page on my cell phone, and I didn’t want to be “well I don’t have a cell phone”. That used to be novel… like the tech misanthrope acting all haughty and arrogant “I DO NOT CHOOSE TO OWN A CELL PHONE” then secretly asks to borrow yours.
Now not having a cell phone just seems insane…. so we will see how long this lasts. Even if I don’t want to rely on it… everyone else relies on them so it sort of makes my opinion of the matter obsolete.
