This guy popped into my sprint.com searching… I was on the site and he just popped in. Took me by surprise. This guy engaged me, then hung up on me when he was scared or spooked by my ramble. Not sure what happened, but Sprint failed here.

Or I did. Weird. I think this is funny.

Oh.. Touch Commerce failed.

Your chat transcript

Agent: Hello, I’m a Sprint products and services online specialist. May I help you pick the plan that is best for you?

You: is this for real? did you just autochat into my searching?

Agent: Yes this is a live chat?

You: not that it’s bad… at all. It’s just wild if so.

You: WOW!

You: Weird.

You: okay…. I am going to upgrade my phone!

Agent: Let’s move this chat to the bottom of the window. It will be out of the way and I can stay with you in case you have any questions or any concerns. Just click on the “Yes” button below and we can continue.

Agent: Simply click on the white “Yes” button below and we can continue.

Agent: Did you select the phone you wanted to upgrade too?

You: I am still sort of amazed you popped in here. Anyway…. I have done weeks worth of research.

Agent: Ok.

You: I am primarily a biz user, and also do a lot of social media. I am on google’s cloud, and am VERY tired of win mobile platform

You: I have an HTC Touch Pro right now, and albeit amazing with multitasking… it freezes, it’s slow, and I am tired of a lot of it’s problem vs. pluses

You: I mused with going with the Touch Pro 2, but as nice as it looks… the keyboard is awesome… it’s still winmo, and lacks true integration with google. I like the android system, and am fairly confident in the Samsung Moment at this point.

*end?*

Come on. You can’t back out of what you started. Silly Touch Commerce people…. you just made me angrier than I would have been otherwise. That really *isn’t* the point of customer engagement.

Oh well.
