So Slaughter Bots was a PSA of where drone tech can go, where it can go out of control in military hands, and possibly even the public. We need to fight against the notion of autonomous drones that could algorithmically lock into targets based on skin tone, gender, etc.

And we’ve seen effective use of swarm drone and military drone prowess in films. Angel Has Fallen had a particularly effective scene:

But now, it’s happening. People have been experimenting, and now cartel and mafia are using it. It’s not for good like those people who rescued the dogs trapped by lava. It’s horrifying.
